Andy won a National Championship as part of the Highland Rugby program while in high school and recently completed a PhD in Biochemistry & Biophysics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was awarded the Graduate Education Advancement Board Impact Award for his work on Novel Protein-Based Therapeutics for Nerve Agent Detoxification. Yes, he is that smart!

Jeremy discovered CrossFit while part of the Army National Guard World Class Athlete program. Jeremy is a lifelong student, holding four college degrees. His quest for knowledge currently centers on making CrossFit Mt Olympus the premier fitness facility in Utah.
As a diabetic, Jeremy understands both the benefits of regular, intense exercise and the challenges many people face in their own quest for elite fitness.

Grant went from a chubby teenager to become one of the Few, the Proud…the Marines. He has continued his quest for fitness, earning a Black Belt in Hung Gar Kung Fu from our partners, Kung Fu Utah. Grant serves as our Director of Motivational Expletives and keeps us all in line.

Brandon brings a rare set of talents to CrossFit Mt Olympus. He may be the only CrossFit coach with a national championship in Ballroom Dance! Brandon came to CrossFit Mt Olympus when he suffered a repetitive use injury while training for triathlons. After several months without running he actually improved his speed by following CrossFit workouts.
Brandon serves as our Head Endurance coach. Need help with your running form or training program for an upcoming race? Brandon is your man.

Tracy “Roxy” Scothern
Chief of Getting Your Butt to the Gym

Tracy began training at CrossFit Mt Olympus when she got tired of losing swimming races to her teenage daughter, Charlotte. After a year of CrossFit, she came back strong and went undefeated versus her daughter for all of 2011!
Over 2011 Tracy dropped from a jeans size 8 to a size 6, all while becoming stronger and faster!
With all the success she has had with CrossFit she is passionate about helping others reach their fitness goals.
